Prechained is a free, public, open source cryptographic archive of the global software supply chain, operated by NextGenRails™ and licensed under AGPL-3.0. The service automatically crawls public package registries and GitHub repositories, captures cryptographic snapshots, and makes them publicly available for verification and forensic analysis.
No login, signup, payment, or personal information is required to use Prechained. The service is provided at no cost.
Prechained is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. NextGenRails™ does not guarantee completeness of coverage, accuracy of captured data, uninterrupted availability, or that any specific package version will be in the archive.
Prechained is a supplementary forensic tool. It does not replace professional security assessments, vulnerability scanning, incident response services, or legal counsel.
Prechained's source code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code under the terms of that license. The source is available at github.com/ngr-dev1/prechained.
The archived manifest data in prechained-archive is publicly available at github.com/ngr-dev1/prechained-archive. Archive data is provided for research, forensic, and security purposes.
You may use Prechained for security research, forensic analysis, compliance verification, and supply chain integrity checking. You may not use Prechained to facilitate attacks, scrape data at rates that degrade service for others, or misrepresent Prechained data in ways that could harm third parties.
Prechained collects anonymous usage analytics including pages visited, browser type and version, referrer URL, device type, and approximate geographic location derived from IP address. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored. IP addresses are never retained. No cookies are used.
Analytics data is used solely for internal operational purposes and is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or targeting.

The Prechained receipt format, crawler architecture, SHA-384 fingerprinting methodology, and Bitcoin anchoring protocol are the intellectual property of NextGenRails™, protected under USPTO provisional patent filing and common law copyright. The AGPL-3.0 license governs use of the source code specifically.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextGenRails™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Prechained or reliance on any data in the archive. Since Prechained is provided free of charge, NextGenRails™'s total liability for any claim shall not exceed $0.
